If you are a woman, then you don’t have any right on yourself after marriage, weird, right?

I know it’s strange, but when you are married, you don’t have any right on yourself neither you cannot decide about your career, nor can you speak what you want to or what you want to wear, where you want to go.

You don’t have permission to visit your parent’s house, and even you are not allowed to talk to them as much as you wanted. Even you can’t have the right to continue your job after marriage. You need to think about your husband’s family, take care of them, and give birth as soon as possible.

It is a bitter truth of life, especially in India. Every right of yours is given to the husband’s family. You are forced to treat and accept them as your family, and even you have to change your surname because your husband’s surname must be your surname. You can’t talk to your male friends, neither can you meet them. Every right of yours is seized and is handed over to your husband or his family. They are the ones who will take every decision of your life, and you have to accept that and have to live according to them.

Otherwise, be ready to face the consequences, like seriously Why people have this kind of mentality? Why can’t they treat their daughter-in-law like their own daughter? Why every time only girls have to suffer.

Girls always dream of their marriage to be happy and live according to the way they want to. But, in real life, all their dreams are shattered and are broken after marriage. And in return, girls have been told it’s for their healthy being.

Most women accept to live like this because they think this is how their life will be, and they feel like they don’t have any option. From childhood, we have been told that accepting the things the way it is, is better than breaking the relation. Now I want to ask you guys what do you think, whether it is correct or not?
